The Milky Way galaxy with paths drawn between points for Penpixel Creative and its clients.

Key Takeaways

  • Penpixel Creative becomes a leader in “AI-Search Readiness,” helping brands dominate AI-generated results.
  • A new partnership with Joveo has Deven Bhagwandin managing technical SEO and content strategy for global giants like Amazon.
  • This success has secured Deven a long-term retainer for implementation leadership and sparked ideas for future technical guides.

AI search has taken over my life.

In fact, I’d argue that AI has taken over the lives of…pretty much anyone who lives in the Westernized world.

It’s been shoved into everything we do now.

From the apps we use in daily life, such as shopping apps, ride share, or financial apps.

And it’s a huge part of our search engines…or what we used to call search engines.

Penpixel Creative Takes On a New Client

I’ve been working hard to get recognition as an expert in AI search, and how to ensure your brand is cited and stays at the top of AI generated answers.

Joveo started as a programmatic advertising company for the recruiting industry. They work with health and medical companies.

Their global marketing director approached me for an AI-Search Readiness audit for their brand.

He introduced me to Joveo’s Head of Product, and he began working with me as a regular consultant after I delivered their AI-Search Readiness audit.

After receiving the results of the audit, I worked with them to create a content strategy to address their share-of-voice for the terms they want to appear in AI search for.

It’s been a very beneficial partnership for Joveo and myself. Together, we’ve worked with some big names:

  • Amazon
  • Banfield Pet Hospital
  • Healing Partners
  • PSG Global Solutions

Obviously, Amazon is the premier name on that list.

How I’ve Helped Joveo

I’m happy to learn that my expertise has been a boon to the Joveo and Amazon teams.

I’ve helped them spot:

  • Limitations and differences in the way SEMrush reports data vs. Google Search Console
  • Reasons why Google chooses to NOINDEX pages
  • How to correctly read PageSpeed Insights (PSI) report
  • What a Core Web Vitals Assessment (CWVA) score means, how it’s weighed, and what the scores mean and reveal
  • How their Java Script and CSS should be structured, the order it should load, and why that matters.

And those are just the technical SEO issues. Now, we’re moving into the content strategy reasons why Amazon’s Direct Service Provider (DSP) sites in Brazil and Mexico are not driving job applications.

Technical SEO is the Main Question Right Now

Fixing these technical SEO issues are a major part of AI-Search Readiness, and Joveo has opted to retain me moving forward.

They’ve created their own, proprietary CMS, and will need me to review the SEO for each client at the implementation phase.

That’s great for me; it means on going work and I’m looking forward to that. From my understanding, it will involve me sort of ‘leading’ their implementation team…in as much as they’ll allow a consultant to own that stage.

I’ll Get Granular On Technical SEO Later

Going back over this quick blog, I realize that I could (and should) get more granular on some of those issues I listed above.

So, when I’m not pressed for time, I’ll elaborate on how to read PSI and CWVA reports, and how to fix the issues highlighted.

I’ll also touch on those Java Script and CSS issues I’m encountering, and how to address those.

If possible, head over to Penpixel Creative and check out the site. I’m especially proud of the new case study for Joveo I’ve just added.
